Quite how this pond come to be, i dont have a clue. What i do know is that its stocked full of decent perch and is like a 5 minute walk from my house.

Its full of rubbish, being close to the local McDonalds but dont let that put you off. There are'nt many snags save for the reeds which the fish are hiding in.

Restrictions:

While there are'nt any lawful restrictions im aware of, its not a place i would want to be after dark on a weekend, given its close proximity to a couple of bad estates whose teens go to the pond to drink.

Directions:

Follow York Road to Asda at Killingbek. The pond is just before you turn in to the Asda car park behind a sandy brick wall.

Buses 56 and 64 pass it directly as do a number of Harrogate and District buses.
